INTERNSHIP :
Two Semesters of Internship involving Contact Lens, Orthoptic, Low Vision training.
Refraction and assistance in Ophthalmic Procedures.
Operation of various Ophthalmic Instruments viz. Visual Field Analyzer, A-Scan , Keratometer, Slit Lamp etc.
FURTHER STUDIES :
Post Diploma Fellowship in Contact Lens , Low Vision, Orthoptic and Clinical Optometry.

Admission to the Second year of Degree Course in Bachelor in Optometry.

 FEES :
Approx. Rs.5000/- per semester
SEMESTER SYSTEM
The academic year at the Polytechnic consists of two independent terms of about 21 weeks each, called a Semester.
  SEMESTER I July 1 to December 10
  SEMESTER II January 2 to May 12
  DIWALI VACATION Approx. 9 days
  CHRISTMAS VACATION Approx. 6 days
 SUMMER VACATION May 15 to June 30

ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE

 A student’s academic performance will be judged on the basis of
1. Internal Assessment : Terms Papers, Assignments, Class work, Project Work, Field     Work, Reports, Seminars and Unit Tests.

2. Semester Examination
