DURATION
Three years Degree Courseinclusive of One Semester of Internship

Eligibility
H.Sc. with PCB subjects or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (Minimum 50% marks)

This professional CLS degree course was introduced by S.N.D.T. University. The idea of introduction of this course was to provide opportunity to students to introduce to the newly emerging fields such as Clinical Research. Clinical Data Management, Forensic Medicine, MBA & Diagnostic technology. 50% students are pursuing education for Master’s degree in Clinical Research, MBA and CLS from various recognized Universities.

Students will be able to make careers as technologists in the various fields such as Clinical Research, Diagnostic technology, Hospital Pathology laboratories, Teaching Institutes, Industries and research institutes requiring technologist in the fields of Microbiology & Biochemistry.

This degree course is recognized by World Education Sevices (WES), USA, hence it is on par with 52 leading Universities of USA who offer masters & Ph. D in CLS & also CLS courses offered by other English Speaking Countries

Rs. 40,000.00/- per year ( Subjected to 10% increment per year)
  SEMESTER SYSTEM
  The academic year at the Polytechnic consists of two independent terms of about 21   weeks each, called a Semester.

  DIWALI VACATION Approx. 9 days
  CHRISTMAS VACATION Approx. 6 days

ASSESSMENT OF STUDENT PERFORMANCE
A student’s academic performance will be judged on the basis of
(i) Internal Assessment : Terms Papers, Assignments, Class work, Project Work, Field     Work, Reports, Seminar and Unit Tests.
