This professional B. Sc. CLS (Clinical Laboratory Science) degree course was introduced by S. N. D. T. Women’s University. In this program the students are trained to become Clinical Laboratory Technologists who can provide clinical information to physicians, pathologists, researchers, and other healthcare providers by conducting a variety of tests on various specimens submitted to clinical laboratories. The program prepares the students to perform general tests in all laboratory areas such as Blood Banking, Biochemistry, Hematology, Immunology and Microbiology.
The course also provides education and training to students to be introduced to the newly emerging fields such as Clinical Research, Clinical Data Management, Forensic Medicine and Diagnostic Technology.
Many of the B. Sc. CLS graduates pursue further education for Master’s degree in CLS, Clinical Research and MBA from various recognized Universities.

B. Sc. CLS degree holders can pursue education for Master's degree in the fields such as CLS, Clinical Research, Management & in Biochemistry, Microbiology & Hematology, mainly by research.
They can also apply for Master's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science to Universities in USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand & other English speaking countries (with the examination marks of TOFEL & GRE).
